Mr. Biswal is a retired officer from Odisha Administrative Services (OAS), who worked as Additional Secretary, Government of Odisha. He has vast experience in grassroots administration and was a member of think tanks in Odisha State Secretariat. He has contributed a lot to the Odisha government in developing the administrative structure, policies and in taking reformative steps. He has received high appreciations in various forums.
At present as Director of Civil Services Training Programs he is heading various activities in Vikash Educational Charitable Trust. He takes overall responsibility of preparing youth for Civil Services and mentors each one of them personally. Apart from this, he is involved in many other social works and is associated with the administration of many religious places. He is humble, friendly, enthusiastic, far-sighted and strategic in intervention approaches. He loves to watch cricket, make new friendship, visiting new places and reading etc.
Engineer Nanda is the former Superintending Engineer of Water Resources Department, Government of Odisha. After completing B.Sc (Civil Engineering) from Utkal University College of Engineering, Burla in 1964, he joined in the irrigation department, Government of Odisha as Assistant Engineer. He has worked in various places of Odisha handling different responsibilities in Government of Odisha during his career. He has also worked in Hydro-Electric project, Balimela and Upper Colab. He got retired in 1998. He has substantial experience in execution of projects and in the administration.
He is a spiritual person who loves meditation and worship and has been strong instrumental in constructing four number of temples for the public worship. He is long associated with Vikash in youth counselling, mentoring and providing guidance. He visits colleges, explains each scholarship scheme and eligibility criteria for the students, collects their applications and verifies their applications forms before approving them. Since 2001, he is associated with Vikash Educational Charitable Trust and presently he is working as Director, Scholarship Programs for the Trust. Apart from this he handles the Facilitator responsibility for the Foundation For Excellence (FFE) as well as State Coordinator for North South Foundation (NSF) scholarships. He is the backbone of Scholarship Programs of VECT.
He is fond of cricket and enjoys listening to the live cricket commentary. Also he is a loving, compassionate and dedicated worker who loves to support and nurture the needy and bright students.
Professor Sahoo serves as an Advisor to Vikash Educational Charitable Trust. Before retirement Professor Sahoo was a Professor in Odia language in BJB Autonomous College, Bhubaneswar. He has long experience in teaching, conducting examinations and education administration. He has translated and edited many books in Odia language.
Apart from the above, Professor Sahoo has provided leading role in many social and charitable works in Anugul, Puri, Khurda and Dhenkanal districts of Odisha. In Cuttack, Kendrapada, Puri and Khurda districts he has contributed a lot nurturing young talents who have interest for the Odia literature. Professor Sahoo has been instrumental in founding many schools and colleges as well. He has received many awards and accolades for the literature works. Apart from being an Advisor for Vikash Educational Charitable Trust, he is also the Founding President for the Jagganth Culture Research Foundation, President for Banvihari Bikash Parishad, Advisor for Kendrapda District Development Foundation and Advisor for Ashrukhola Bikash Foundation.
Mr. Patnaik is a retired officer of Indian Revenue Service (IRS) of Customs and Central Excise. He has served as Chief Commissioner of Central Excise and GST, Bhubaneswar and then served as Vice Chairman in Settlement Commission of Customs and Central Excise, Kolkata. He has experience in Indirect Tax Administration for over 35 years. During his long career he has held important posts in Indirect Taxes, such as Commissioner of Central Excise, Bhubaneswar, Additional Director General of Central Excise Intelligence at New Delhi and Mumbai.
Also he has worked as the Chief Commissioner of Service Tax at Mumbai. He has many appreciations for his sincere and efficient service in this sector. He has been awarded Presidential Award of Appreciation for 'Specially Distinguished Record of Service'.
Currently he is working as Director for Civil Services Online Training Program in Vikash Educational Charitable Trust. He is a loving, humble, kind-hearted sociable person. His hobbies include taking interest in Odia literature and culture. He is a regular writer of Odia poems those gets published in Odia magazines and daily newspapers.
Prafulla Kumar Dash, Education MA Economics from Sambalpur University in 1976 with specialization in Mathematical Economics and Econometrics Worked as Lecturer at Govt college Keonjhar and PG Department of Economics Sambalpur University up to 1980. Cleared UPSC and joined Indian Revenue Service in 1981. Worked in different capacities in Income-tax Department at Hyderabad, Delhi, Odisha, Bihar and Visakhapatnam, Chennai . Was promoted as Commissioner in 2003.Was promoted as Chief Commissioner of lncome Tax in February 2014. Retired on attaining the age of superannuation in November 2014.In between had two spells of deputation as Under Secretary to Govt of lndia in the Department of Agriculture from 1988 to 1991 and as Chief Vigilance Officer Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd from 1999 to 2004. After retirement have been pursing academic activities by taking classes at Institute of Chartered Accountant.
Manas Ranjan Tripathy, former District Inspector of Schools, Mayurbhanj, and presently associated with Vikash Educational Charitable Trust as Director-one almirah of books. He had led the foundation of ODM Public School as its Principal and served as Academic Advisor of Manjari Devi Public School. He was associated with Orientation training on life skills education to teachers, He spear heads "Vikash Chatra Pathagara" initiative which is intended to help students rectify deficiency in Foundational Literacy. He inspires young minds through books, knowledge and meaningful learning opportunities and to contributes meaningfully to the educational and social development of children.
