Civil Services Coaching:
For the development of human resources to support the government administration, VECT has been providing coaching to needy meritorious youth for Civil Services through the tie-up with a coaching institute called IAS Guru. The classes are provided free of cost to the needy students who were selected after a careful scrutiny. Regular mentoring and guidance is provided to these students. VECT senior team members directly get involved in this coaching program. Due to the meticulous efforts of the team, VECT has successfully fulfilled the aspiration of hundreds of civil service aspirants in Odisha. Many have successfully cleared the civil services examinations and have excelled in their career.
Scholarship Program:
Post liberalization, India has witnessed a spurt in establishment of many sparklingly bright educational institutes-both in government and private sectors, offering new courses along with traditional ones. While opportunities increased, a large section of people cannot access it because the courses have become costly. Keeping the needs of the students in view, the Trust is trying to arrange help and mentoring them, while carrying on other activities. Various categories of scholarship programs as per donor specific follows:

NSF scholarship program is handled by VECT team. The chairman of VECT, Mr. Choudhury is the Trustee for NSF in India. This scholarship provision is meant for various educational streams such as Engineering, medical, agricultural studies, nursing, forestry, horticulture etc. Apart from this, the scholarship provision is available for B.A B.Ed integrated teacher education course in RIE (Regional Institute of Education). The students get Rs.25,000 annually as educational scholarship from this. This has started from 2004 and continuing. Around 400 B.Sc in Nursing students are getting benefited through scholarship in year 2025. Around 699 students are getting benefited through this scholarship in 2025. Apart from the financial support for the academic, students get trained in soft skills, English communication, personality development as well as self defense (Taekwando) etc
Dr. Saheb Sahoo, who is the Managing director of Kalinga Hospital, Bhubaneswar through his personal efforts supports 200 students for their nursing education. Also, there is a proposal to add another 50 students from Baripada district of Odisha for this program.
Our association with LBW Trust, Australia started in 2009-10. Since then LBW has made a huge contribution for providing financial assistance to needy meritorious students of Odisha. This support is used for the scholarship provision for the students pursuing various studies. The assistance has helped to provide scholarship to 971 students from different branch of study which includes 101 MBBS students.
